It’s no secret to anyone that knows me I have enjoyed my time at Amplified thus far immensely. For those of you that don’t, you may ask “How much have you loved it, Alexa?”. Well I am finishing up my second summer here, so you could say I like it…
A never really knew what to look for in an internship, initially I was just looking for something close to home that would give me some experience in the field. I have certainly found that experience, and the knowledge I have gained is immeasurable.
Here’s four reasons I love interning at Amplified Digital:
A little bit of this, a little bit of that. What made this internship so exciting upon reading about it is the opportunity to get a lot exposure to the tasks of each team within the organization. This knowledge is underrated in my opinion; understanding the way that things work in every specific area gives an insight into the overall process of digital marketing.
Q&A. Feeling comfortable asking questions for clarification can be one of the most intimidating parts of an internship. At Amplified I have always felt confident that I wasn’t being a burden by asking questions.
Live & Learn. I was able to learn about the best practices of effective digital marketing through application. To learn about new products, I developed content for our website about how our products work. To expand my knowledge on how to make recommendations for businesses, I assisted in developing proposals. I can say with confidence I wouldn’t have the developed understanding of these concepts without having the opportunity to apply them!
Success. At Amplified, you can truly tell that those around you want to see you succeed. When I was learning about new processes or projects, everyone was always willing to walk me through something and encouraged me to reach out with any questions along the way. This is one of the concepts that has made my experience at Amplified so special, and I am so grateful I found a place that is attentive in seeing me succeed!
This list only scratches the surface of all that I have loved about my time at Amplified. There are so many experiences that come to mind while contemplating these four concepts, I could go on and on! I would highly recommend this internship program to anyone that is considering it. I have had the pleasure of watching Amplified grow immensely both literally and figuratively, and I am so grateful I have been able to be a part of that.
