The Internet’s favorite social media powerhouse is continuing to expand its long list of functions. Facebook unveiled its plans for a new feature last week – Embedded Posts.

Taking a cue from Twitter, which introduced the method over two years ago, Zuckerberg and Co. have created a social plugin that lets users easily add public posts from Facebook to one’s own blog or website. Viewers can easily like, comment or share the embedded post directly from the site.

As of this post, the feature is only available to Facebook’s inner circle (select news outlets) – CNN, People, Huffington Post, Mashable and The Bleacher Report. However Facebook stated a “broader rollout” is coming soon.embed-post-circled
